2. First Aid Training

Yes, we’re pretty biased when it comes to making Yorkshire recommendations.
If you are coming to Yorkshire then you best get first aid trained too!

At Splat Training we strive to provide First Aid Training that is unique, interesting, engaging and fun, oh and don’t forget it’s in the most beautiful place you ever will go.

3. A pint at the New Delight Inn

Aye, it might seem like a local pub for local folk, but we do like to welcome off ‘cumdens to our trusty watering hole.

Amy and Meg welcome you to join ’em for a pint if you’re visiting our lovely Yorkshire Countryside. The New Delight is situated on the Pennine Way and is home to The Hebden Bridge Campsite.

4. May's Shop

May’s Shop or Aladdins Cave.

Another perfect stop if you’re walking the Pennine Way, or the place to go if you need anything really!

If you need it, May’s got it. To us at Splat it’s our local shop, but people come from miles around to visit May and her fabulous shop that’s open 364 days of the year (all but Christmas Day – although she’ll probably make you a cuppa if you’re stuck).

May is an angel in our community, she knows everyone, delivers the papers to those who can’t get out, and has always got time for a chin wag.

5. A Walk up Hoo Hole

Amy is a walk leader, and has a great passion for walking the beautiful footpaths of Yorkshire.

A local walk to us is Hoo Hole, it’s a site of special scientific interest and is close to the home of King David, the leader of the Cragg Vale Coiners. So, if you are a Gallows Pole fan it’s worth a visit!

6. Eureka! The National Children's Museum

If you have children then Eureka is a MUST VISIT in Yorkshire!

The children’s museum boasts huge learning opportunities for children of all ages, and is super fun too!

We can also confirm that they have one of the best first aid provisions we have ever come across, with all staff members first aid trained, and a first aid room.

7. The Piece Hall

The Piece Hall is another of our wonderful clients.

If you’re heading to Yorkshire check out what’s on at The Piece Hall.

They often have lots of interesting events on, including live bands, food festivals, makers markets and much more. This year our team have been to see UB40, James, and Madness already.

We particularly recommend a visit at Christmas, the Christmas markets are wonderful, and when The Piece Hall is dressed for Christmas it is just beautiful!

8. Billy Bobs Parlour

Another fab visit with kids.

American food, ice cream, barn play area, all set in the gorgeous Yorkshire Dales.

What more could you want?
